Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our fleet. You must have previous tow truck driving experience. A background in roadside assistance or experience loading and unloading a flatbed truck or tractor-trailer is a plus. Your primary duties will revolve around assisting disabled motorists with services such as changing their tires or transporting them to a nearby garage, or towing cars that have a parking or other illegal infraction.
Hours for the position: 2nd Shift is 4 PM- 11 PM.
Responsibilities
- Respond to accidents, break-downs, and other roadside incidents
- Stay in contact with motorists when you are en route
- Perform basic repairs or tow their vehicle to a garage
- Safely load cars onto the back of your truck
- Keep your truck clean and in good condition
- Remove illegally parked vehicles
Qualifications
- DOT Card is required
- At least one year of tow truck driving experience
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Basic mechanical skills
- Attention to detail when documenting work
- Physical strength and stamina
