JOB TITLE: General Facility Maintenance

REPORTS TO: Production Manager

SHIFT: Flexible - Part time (approximately 20 hours week)

PAY TYPE: Hourly

Facility General Maintenance and General Repairs, Driver

• Assist in cleaning the production floor, sweeping metal chips, mopping up spills
• Utilizing the company van, drive company products to and from suppliers ensuring safe deliveries at all times
• Ability to utilize hand tools to assist in general building maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
• Follow directions as given to complete the assigned task as required.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily task goals.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment remains in good working order.
• As needed and where possible assist with simple machine maintenance tasks
• Perform odd jobs as needed around the facility inside and outside.

Compliance and Safety:

• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly
• Participate in safety training programs and actively contribute to a culture of workplace safety.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

Must-have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Nice-to-have:

• Prior experience in a warehouse and general building maintenance
• Experience using a forklift to move pallets of material
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse settings.
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration and problems
