Full-Time Pharmacist – 2nd Shift

Schedule: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Shift: Rotating schedule; days change every 2 weeks
Weekend: Every other weekend, Saturday & Sunday
Holiday: 2 holidays per year
Shift Differential: +$2.50/hour

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team on a full-time second-shift schedule. Candidates must be flexible and available to work 7 days per week based on the rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications
• Counsel patients on medications, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
• Monitor medication compliance and identify potential drug-related issues
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient and pharmacy records
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions according to proper procedures
• Provide patient services and education, including blood pressure monitoring and medical device use
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, clerks, interns, and other pharmacy staff
• Maintain appropriate pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure all pharmacy practices comply with applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
• Active state Pharmacist license required
• Strong communication, clinical, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work a rotating schedule and every other weekend

Compensation

• 2nd Shift Differential: +$2.50/hour
• Overtime: 1.5× average applicable shift rate
• Double Time: 2× average applicable shift rate
