Electrical Project Manager
Location: Richmond, VA
Type: Direct hire
Pay: $125K - $150K + bonus & company paid health, dental, vision

Summary
The Project Manager will lead and oversee commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing project financials, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and compliance while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Lead the Change Order (CO) process in line with SOPs
- Oversee permits, inspections, submittals, RFIs, plans, specs, and closeout documentation
- Review project contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
- Coordinate with planning, modeling, fabrication, and field teams
- Lead pre-construction meetings and support estimating handoff
- Manage procurement and material delivery to meet project schedules
- Oversee subcontractor scope, performance, and relationships
- Develop and maintain project schedules, status reports, and progress updates
- Break down estimates into cost codes for data-driven decisions
- Provide technical guidance and resolve project issues
- Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to safety policies
- Manage Schedule of Values (SOV), billing, payment applications, and cash flow
- Conduct post-project reviews and build strong industry relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent technical training and industry experience
- Minimum 2+ years managing electrical or multi-trade construction projects
- Experience managing projects up to $25M
- Background in electrical estimating and cost management
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and low voltage systems
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- MUST have a valid driver’s license
