Our organization is in search of a driven, career-focused, and customer-oriented Budget Analyst to become part of our team in Arlington, VA. This role requires onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary financial liaison and functional point of contact for a specific program or portfolio, offering budget execution support while overseeing daily budgetary and financial matters with diverse needs, objectives, and goals.
- Work collaboratively with both internal and external budget analysts and program stakeholders to develop, coordinate, and compile program review materials and budgetary data for Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution cycles.
- Provide expert advice, assistance, and guidance on financial accounting and related information, conducting analyses, reviews, and special studies of budgetary and related data.
- Utilize budgetary and other proprietary automated systems, along with computer-generated products, to facilitate execution support.
- Deliver comprehensive updates regarding document statuses and any execution-related issues to government stakeholders as required.
Essential Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in a financial or business-related field, or 2 additional years of relevant experience.

At least 2 years of experience with a federal financial/accounting system, particularly in updating accounts, records, reports, and controls.

A strong grasp of the budget execution process at the individual document level.
Clearance Requirements:

Must possess an active Top-Secret Clearance and be capable of obtaining and maintaining SCI prior to commencement.

Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information is required.

SSBI must have been completed within the last 6 years.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.

Occasional movement throughout the office to access equipment and materials is necessary.

Frequent communication with coworkers, management, and clients is essential; the ability to exchange accurate information in these interactions is required.
