Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Forklift Operator role based in South Brunswick, NJ. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, and unload pallets, cartons, and other inventory throughout the warehouse. Day-to-day tasks include staging and organizing materials, completing shipping and receiving activities, following pick lists and work orders, and maintaining accurate records of moved and stored goods. The role also involves performing basic equipment checks, reporting maintenance or safety issues, and keeping work areas clean and free of hazards. The Forklift Operator works closely with warehouse associates, supervisors, and drivers to meet productivity and accuracy goals while adhering to all safety and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment, with a strong commitment to safe practices.
  • \n

  • Ability to read and follow work orders, pick lists, and shipping documents, and to maintain accurate inventory movement and documentation.
  • \n

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move materials for extended periods, and to work in varying warehouse conditions.
  • \n

  • Strong attention to detail, reliability in following procedures, and ability to meet productivity and quality standards.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to coordinate with supervisors, drivers, and other warehouse staff.

  • Willingness to follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements; prior safety training or certification is beneficial.
  • \n

  • Previous forklift certification or willingness to obtain company-sponsored certification; prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; openness to ongoing training and skill development.
