This role bridges strategic planning and hands-on project execution to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with operational and financial objectives.This position is well suited for a hands-on project leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can effectively manage contractors, engineering partners, and cross-functional teams while driving standardization and scalability across multiple sitesRole & Responsibility:Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success
- Manage capital engineering projects from concept through commissioning, including oversight of vendors, contractors, and engineering partners
- Develop detailed project scopes, budgets, cost estimates, and execution timelines
- Create and manage comprehensive project plans while tracking risks, issues, and dependencies
- Ensure equipment, systems, and engineering deliverables align with established standards and long-term operational goals
- Facilitate coordination across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Logistics teams
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to define engineering and operational requirements
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory codes, and safety requirements
- Drive standardization of systems, equipment, and processes across multiple facilities
- Support installation, commissioning, startup, and transition of systems into plant operations
- Partner with Finance to monitor capital spend, project budgets, and return on investment
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and scalable design
- Translate growth initiatives into executable engineering project roadmaps
Skills & ExperienceQualifications That Will Help You ThriveRequired Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
- 5+ years of experience managing capital or engineering projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar projects from design through commissioning
- Strong proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar
- Experience managing contractors, EPC firms, and equipment vendors
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in both plant and office environments
- Willingness to travel up to 75% during active build phases
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with industrial controls and automation platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Rockwell)
- Experience supporting both existing plant optimization and new facility construction
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environments
