This direct hire opportunity is for an experienced Retail Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) role based in Brick, NJ. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, making it ideal for pharmacists seeking a stable weekday routine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring smooth and compliant workflows
- Supervise pharmacy staff in medication dispensing and filling activities
- Maintain strict adherence to local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations as well as quality standards set by the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy
- Apply leadership and expertise in specialty infusion pharmacy practices
- Recommend process improvements and alternative solutions to enhance pharmacy performance
- Prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- Current New Jersey Registered Pharmacist license
- Minimum of two years of retail pharmacy management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills with sound judgment
- Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision while managing competing priorities effectively
