Overview

Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 12 months

CTG is seeking a Quality Engineer – Automation to support our client in the banking industry. This role focuses on designing and executing automated testing solutions to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery in Agile and DevOps environments.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
Create optimized test scenarios using combinatorial test design (IGNITE, Hexawise)
Perform UI and API automation using Selenium, Karate, and Postman
Validate data using SQL and support API integrations
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with development and delivery teams to identify and resolve defects

Required Skills & Experience:

Banking industry experience
Hands-on experience with Selenium frameworks, Karate, and Postman
Knowledge of combinatorial test design (IGNITE, Hexawise)
Working knowledge of SQL and Java and/or Python
Strong experience with API testing and automation
Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
