Role Description The Elementary Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Blacklick Estates, OH. This role is responsible for planning and delivering engaging daily lessons that align with grade-level standards and the school’s educational philosophy. The educator will manage classroom routines, assess student progress, provide individualized support, and maintain accurate records of student performance. Daily responsibilities include communicating regularly with families and colleagues, collaborating on curriculum and instructional strategies, and participating in school events and professional development. The educator will also promote a positive classroom culture that supports social-emotional growth, respect, and a love of learning.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Christian School Teaching and Elementary Education, with experience instructing and supporting young learners.
- Ability to contribute to Curriculum Development and align instructional materials with educational standards and school goals.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with students, families, and colleagues.
- Background in Education, such as a bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, and appropriate teaching certification or licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
- Demonstrated classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
- Organizational and time-management skills to plan lessons, track student progress, and meet deadlines.
- Comfort with integrating basic educational technology into instruction and student activities.
- Prior experience in a Christian School school setting is beneficial but not required.
