JOB DESCRIPTION:
* The Web Accessibility Developer will support transportation software used to route and permit oversize and overweight truck loads all over North America for government Departments of Transportation.
* Review, test, and debug existing websites to ensure they meet requirements.
* Document accessibility deficiencies and work with the development team to resolve them.
* Work with the Software Development Manager and individual project managers to meet project goals.
* Provide daily updates on work assigned via the project management application.
Position Details:
- Pay $40/hour, DOE
- Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
- Benefits available after trial period
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Three or more yrs experience with web site accessibility troubleshooting.
* In depth knowledge of the WCAG 2.2 AAA standards and how to apply them to a web site. * Experience with web technologies such as ARIA, CSS, JQuery, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
* Must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a distributed team.
* Must be able to multi-task and adapt to quick changes in priorities.
* Two or more years of experience with ASP.NET Web Forms preferred.
* Two or more years of experience with Razor and Blazor Server and Syncfusion PDF a plus. * Experience using Visual Studio 2022 to write and debug code and SSMS to query databases is
helpful.
* Team Foundation Server and G it is also a plus.
Remote Workspace Requirements: Ensure the workspace is a dedicated work area, is safe and free from hazards, has adequate ventilation, lighting, and smoke detectors, effective performance of the job duties, free from excessive noise and distraction, reliable, and high-speed internet connection.
Pay will depend on experience with a 40-hour work week.
