We are seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to join our administrative team and ensure accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles and registrations.
Position Summary
The Title Clerk is responsible for processing all vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation in compliance with North Carolina DMV regulations and dealership policies. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Process vehicle titles and registrations for new and used vehicles

Verify accuracy of title applications, liens, and supporting documentation

Submit title work to the North Carolina DMV in a timely manner

Ensure proper documentation for out-of-state transactions

Track title status and follow up on missing or delayed titles

Post vehicle deals and maintain accurate records in the dealership management system

Work closely with the sales and finance departments to resolve title issues

Maintain compliance with dealership policies and state regulations

Prepare and maintain title logs and reports as required
Qualifications

Previous automotive title clerk experience preferred

Knowledge of North Carolina DMV title and registration processes strongly preferred

Experience with CDK dealership management systems is a plus

Strong organizational and data entry skills
