About the role:
- Leadership & Strategy

- Define and execute the software engineering roadmap aligned with company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and scale distributed engineering teams across onshore and offshore locations.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Technical Oversight

- Drive architecture and development of AI/ML-powered solutions for insurance payor systems.
- Ensure scalability, security, and compliance of software platforms.
- Oversee integration of advanced analytics and automation into core systems.
- Collaboration

- Partner with product, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Manage vendor relationships and offshore development partners effectively.
- Execution

- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and agile methodologies.
- Monitor KPIs and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Balance short-term deliverables with long-term technical vision.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in AI/ML software engineering and modern development frameworks.
- Strong background in insurance payor systems and software.
- Demonstrated success managing onshore and offshore engineering teams.
- Experience in startup or high-growth environments, with ability to adapt quickly.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
