Job Summary (List Format):
\n - Performs proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler echocardiography exams.
\n - Coordinates with other hospital departments for scheduling, patient transport, phone communication, and billing.
\n - Assists cardiologists during exams by preparing measurements and exchanging relevant diagnostic information.
\n - Manages delivery, pick up, and distribution of dictations efficiently.
\n - Responds to patient needs and communicates changes in condition to appropriate medical staff.
\n - Orders and maintains inventory of echo supplies; ensures exam rooms are clean and stocked.
\n - Logs and files patient records and exam information within the department.
\n - Participates in departmental and hospital-wide performance improvement activities.
\n - Shares responsibility for on-call coverage for emergency echo exams outside regular hours.
\n - Maintains equipment quality control and coordinates repair services as needed.
\n - Stays updated on advancements in echocardiography and collaborates with cardiologists for continued learning.
\n - Assists with additional cardiac procedures as required.
\n - Holds and maintains appropriate certifications and licenses (A.R.D.M.S./CCI or equivalent, NM Echo Sonographer License, BLS certification).

Med Ninjas Job ID #17587. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
