Guest Services/Front Desk Representative – Motel 6 Wilkes Barre Arena

Motel 6 Wilkes-Barre Arena is looking for a front desk agent (guest services representative)

Shifts including 3p-11p, 11p-7a

Experience preferred but willing to train

Weekends/holidays are a requirement

Job Description:

  • Greet and provide guests with assistance at the front desk during the check-in and check-out processes and throughout their stay
  • Meet Guest satisfaction by providing genuine hospitality and by exceeding guest expectations
  • Keep current on Motel accommodations, services and area attractions and responds to customer inquiries for information
  • Give personal attention, take personal responsibility and use teamwork when providing guest service
  • Responsibilities include providing top quality customer service, effective use of a multi-line telephone, the ability to work with the hotel property management system and maintaining a safe secure environment
  • Assume the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to how to correct.
  • Communicating with other team members
  • Keeping the work area clean and clutter free
  • Arrange for services requested by the guest by working with other departments as appropriate.

Weekends and holidays are a requirement. A drug screening is required prior to offering employment.
