Children’s Land Early Childhood Education Center is dedicated to fostering a holistic learning environment for young children. We believe in nurturing the physical, emotional, and social development of our students through a variety of activities, including yoga. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Yoga Instructor to join our team and contribute to our mission of promoting well-rounded growth in our children.

Job Responsibilities:

•Plan and lead age-appropriate yoga sessions for children, focusing on fun and engaging activities.

•Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants.

•Teach basic yoga poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques.

•Incorporate storytelling, music, and play into yoga sessions to make them enjoyable for young children.

•Monitor and assess each child’s participation and progress, providing individualized support as needed.

•Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate yoga into the overall curriculum.

•Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child’s participation and progress in yoga.

•Utilize Brightwheel for daily communication with parents.

•Maintain a clean and organized yoga space, ensuring all materials and equipment are safe and suitable for young children.

•Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in yoga instruction for children.

•Contribute to a positive and supportive school culture.

Qualifications:

•Certification as a Yoga Instructor, with specialization or experience in teaching yoga to children.

•Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a yoga or fitness setting.

•Strong understanding of child development principles.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Ability to create a nurturing and engaging educational environment.

Preferred Skills:

•Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.

•Familiarity with various yoga styles and techniques suitable for young children.

•Experience incorporating music, storytelling, and play into yoga sessions.

•Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and staff.
