About the Role:
Sherwood Bedding is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our production team as a Machine Operator. This role offers hands-on training, growth opportunities, and the chance to be part of a team dedicated to quality and efficiency in bedding manufacturing.
Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor production machinery in a safe and efficient manner

Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to ensure smooth machine operation

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Inspect materials and finished products to meet quality standards

Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications:

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new machinery

Previous coiling or mattress manufacturing experience not required—training provided

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
