Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile ETL Developer with a strong foundation in data pipeline development, shell scripting, and AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes using tools like Informatica IICS, Python/PySpark, and will be proficient in implementing CI/CD practices for data infrastructure. A solid understanding of data architecture and automation is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Informatica IICS, Python, and PySpark

Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and system integration tasks

Architect and implement data integration solutions on AWS (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift)
-
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions
-
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and deployment using tools like Git, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
-
Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for reliability and scalability
-
Document processes, data flows, and technical specifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

4+ years of hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development

Proficiency in Informatica IICS, Python, and PySpark
-
Strong experience with shell scripting (Bash, etc.)

In-depth understanding of AWS services used in data engineering (e.g., S3, EC2, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, CloudWatch)

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline

Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and best practices

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team
Preferred Qualifications:

AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect)

Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)

Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow

Experience in Agile or DevOps environments
