Qualifications:
- Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) License required
- Experience with pediatric and school-based OT services preferred
- Strong skills in individualized assessment and intervention planning
- Confidence in participating in IEP/ARD planning and documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy to a caseload of approximately 22 students across multiple school sites
- Manage and document IEP/ARD requirements and progress
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to evaluation reports
- Attend ARD meetings and present findings or recommendations
- Organize 1-2 therapy days per week with an estimated 30-35 hours per month (8 hours per week average)
- Collaborate with other school staff to support each student's developmental and educational needs
