Job Description

We're seeking a System Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise technology solutions that support scalable, modern applications. This role will own the system architecture strategy, collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams, and drive technical excellence across all stages of product development. Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design and architectural direction across multiple systems and product domains
  • Develop and implement solutions using cloud-native platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Provide mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices
  • Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams in an Agile development environment
  • Define system interfaces, subsystems, and end-to-end solution architecture
  • Optimize application performance and scalability, ensuring a high-quality user experience
  • Establish and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and frameworks
  • Conduct code reviews and manage development of scalable software applications
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and propose implementation strategies
  • Align system architecture with business goals, non-functional requirements (NFRs), and cost/benefit analyses
  • Contribute to the Continuous Delivery Pipeline with CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Produce technical documentation, diagrams, and presentation artifacts to support internal stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of software architecture and system design experience
  • 5+ years leading technical teams in an Agile environment
  • Deep expertise in APIs, microservices, containers, messaging systems, and cloud architectures
  • Strong understanding of application performance tuning and scalability strategies
  • Experience with container management (e.g., AKS, GKE, OpenShift), DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform), and API management solutions (e.g., Apigee, Kong)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives with minimal oversight

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in large enterprise settings with automation, mobile, data, and integration technologies
  • 7+ years in a leadership capacity guiding cross-functional technology teams
  • Familiarity with CMS, search platforms, and mobile-first design principles
  • Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and lifelong learning

Work Schedule

  • Standard business hours with flexibility to support distributed teams or off-hours coordination as needed
