As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Associate in Bowie, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will drive and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and residential amenities, observe for unauthorized entry and/or policy violations, and help to deter unwanted activity through visible presence and professional interaction.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance-related concerns, and report security-related issues to site contacts in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
