Little Acorns Learning Center is seeking an energetic, responsible, and qualified individual who is over 18 for a full time Lead Teacher position in our younger toddler classroom.
Lead Teacher Responsibilities:
- Manage the classroom by creating a safe and nurturing environment
- Create weekly lesson plans
- Promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth in the children
- Regularly communicate with families
- Collaborate with coworkers
- Meet state requirements for child care centers
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Lead teacher qualified as described by DCYF Rule 3
- Positive and patient demeanor
