Overview
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to support IT services delivery across task areas including Cyber Security, IT Operations & Service Management, and IT Management. The position requires designing and managing secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions, primarily within Microsoft Azure, while ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity standards.
This role supports IT operations and modernization initiatives in collaboration with government stakeholders, contributing to mission-critical operations, security, and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage task execution, reporting, and risk mitigation to ensure alignment with program priorities.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, conduct assessments, and support incident response.
- Provide IT operations support including system administration, infrastructure management, troubleshooting, and Help Desk services (Boulder, CO & Washington, DC).
- Support IT governance, strategy, and oversight of technology programs.
- Design and manage secure, scalable, cost-effective cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Lead Azure engineering efforts (AKS, policies, RBAC, tagging, landing zones) and enforce infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Automate secure, policy-compliant deployments and optimize cloud performance and spend.
- Collaborate across IT, cybersecurity, and DevOps teams to modernize and strengthen infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture and Cybersecurity.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and related engineering tools.
- Experience with Zero Trust, RBAC, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Cloud Architect/Engineer certification or equivalent required.
- Strong understanding of federal IT compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
Clearance:
- Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
