A respected and long-standing St. Louis law firm is seeking an Estate Planning Attorney to join its team. The firm serves individuals, families, and business owners with tailored estate planning and tax strategies, and the ideal candidate will have experience in both planning and administration. Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Missouri Bar (Illinois Bar admission a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in estate planning and trust/estate administration
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state estate, gift, and income tax laws
  • Excellent drafting skills for wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related planning documents
  • Ability to manage complex client matters with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client service focus

Responsibilities

  • Counsel clients on estate and wealth transfer planning, charitable giving, and business succession strategies
  • Draft and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
  • Represent clients in trust and estate administration, including probate proceedings
  • Provide tax planning advice related to estate and gift strategies
  • Work collaboratively with accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to deliver holistic planning solutions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax and estate law developments to provide proactive guidance
