Job DescriptionBusiness Technology Integrators (BTI), A Service -Disable Veteran Owned Small Business with over 25 years of experience delivering innovative IT Solutions to the Federal Government, is seeking Computer Support Technicians in support of United States Attorney Office- District Of Minnesota Administration Division- Information Technology Section in Minneapolis MN/St. Paul Minnesota.
Summary:This position is responsible for providing technical assistance which supports the information management needs of the USAO DMN.
Responsibilities:Candidate will provide IT customer support, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, inventory management and/or training.

  1. System Management & Maintenance
    • Testing, configuring, installing, and maintaining networked systems (data, voice, video).
    • Ensuring system availability, functionality, and efficiency.
  2. Information Security
    • Implementing and maintaining security programs and tools.
    • Ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
  3. Customer Support
    • Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and training.
    • Managing IT inventory and assisting users with installations and configurations.
  4. Web & Network Support
    • Supporting intranet/internet content (e.g., web page updates, link checks).
    • Assisting with network system setup and maintenance.
  5. Litigation & Case Management Support
    • Helping plan/coordinate litigation support and case management services.

Requirements:Educational Requirement:
Successfully completed post-high school education.

Specialized Experience:
All individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating some proficiency in each of the competencies listed below. The experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.

  • Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general

  • Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.


Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT.
