Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Northern Wisconsin. This role is ideal for a licensed professional with experience in dispensing and managing prescriptions, ensuring patient safety, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Counsel patients on proper medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects
- Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for controlled substances and pharmacy operations
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies
- Support inventory management and medication storage procedures to ensure quality and availability
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current pharmacist licensure in the state of Wisconsin
- Proven experience as a Staff Pharmacist or Pharmacist in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting
- Strong knowledge of prescription processing and pharmaceutical care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability and willingness to travel within Northern Wisconsin as required
Location:
- Northern Wisconsin, with assignments based in and around Marengo, WI
