Landscape Foreman

Davidson Landscape Nursery, Inc. is a Full Service Landscape Contractor that has been in business more than 25 years. We operate in the Triad Area and take pride in our work. We are looking for a dedicated Landscape Foreman that can lead a crew, focus on details and stand responsible for his team members.
Must have 2 years of Experience
Annual Salary Based on Experience
Paid Weekly
Quarterly Bonuses Based off Production
Full Time (Year Round Work) Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 (unless otherwise specified)
Employee Benefits:
· After 6 Months (Probation Period) Employee will receive 7 Paid Holidays
· After 12 Months, Employee will Receive 1 Week of Vacation Time

Employee Characteristics:
· Must have Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
· Good Record Keeping Skills to Manage Materials and Expenses
· Mechanical Skills are Necessary to Make Simple Repairs
· Good Communication Skills to Work with his Crew, his Supervisors and the Homeowners
· Must be able to Communicate Effectively
Employee Capabilities:
· Job Requires Heavy Lifting (50+lbs)
· Supervise the Moving of Bulky Items, such as Pesticides, Fertilizers, Seed, Pavers, Trees and Shrubs
· Job Requires Work Outdoors in all Kinds of Weather. If Work is not Possible during the Week, some Saturday work will be Required.
· Must be able to Operate Heavy Equipment such as a Skid Steer, Bobcat and Excavator.
· Use Various Tools: Chainsaw, Hedge Trimmer, Auger, Sod Cutter, Tiller and Bed Edger
· Be able to Drive/Backup Truck and Trailer
· Must Have a Clean Driving Record
Employee Qualifications:
Capable of Mowing, Edging, Trimming and Weed eating daily for 8+ hours
· Required Knowledge of Plants, Shrubs and Trees
· Crew Leader Experience
· Reliable Transportation to and From Work
· Be able to Manage Time/Projects, Complete Required Daily Reports and Follow Up with Supervisor
· Identifying Problems that Occur on Job Sites, Enforce Safety Protocol
