Principal/Sr Principal R&D Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on, innovative R&D Engineer to join our team focused on advancing next-generation heart valve technologies, with a preference for tricuspid valve expertise. This role involves leading design and development activities, contributing to preclinical animal testing, and supporting clinical studies. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, combines technical creativity with practical problem-solving, and brings direct experience in medical device testing and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, prototype, and refine heart valve technologies, with emphasis on tricuspid solutions.
• Conduct and oversee preclinical (animal) testing, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into clinically viable products.
• Participate in and support clinical studies, including data collection and analysis.
• Identify and implement innovative approaches to product design and development.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with valve technology development; tricuspid valve experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on engineering skills, from concept through prototype and testing.
• Experience conducting animal studies and contributing to clinical research.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and collaborative mindset.
