Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative communication skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individualized student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within a K-12 school setting
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings
  • Provide support and education to teachers, staff, and families to promote student growth
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress toward communication goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to develop effective interventions
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education relevant to pediatric speech therapy
