Two contract opportunities are available for Special Education Teachers who bring expertise in either elementary autism or PreK special education settings. These roles are based onsite and run through late May 2027. Collaborate with a dedicated team and help shape positive outcomes for your students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching License (emergency certificates cannot be considered)
- Experience or strong interest in working with either elementary-aged children with autism or PreK students requiring special education
- Open to candidates with pending certifications and those interested in travel assignments
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and strong communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to students according to IEP requirements
- Plan and implement engaging learning activities tailored to each student’s needs
- Work closely with classroom staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records
- Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
