Assisted Stretch Practitioner (Part-Time)
Who This Role Is For
This is for professionals who take their craft seriouslycoaches, trainers, and bodywork practitioners who understand anatomy, value precision, and want to deliver measurable results for clients. If youre looking for a casual fitness job, this is not it.
Role Overview
You will deliver structured, one-on-one assisted stretching sessions with a strong focus on assessment, technique, and client outcomes. This is a hands-on role requiring confidence, professionalism, and the ability to work with a wide range of bodies and limitations.
What Youll Be Responsible For
- Conducting thorough movement and flexibility assessments
- Delivering consistent, high-quality assisted stretch sessions
- Programming with intentnot improvisingbased on client needs
- Educating clients clearly and concisely (no overexplaining, no fluff)
- Tracking progress and adjusting programs accordingly
- Maintaining a clean, disciplined, and professional studio environment
- Supporting client retention through results and experiencenot pressure
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
- Strong working knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics (non-negotiable)
- One of the following credentials:
- Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or similar
- Licensed/Certified Massage Therapist or Neuromuscular Therapist
- Certified Personal Trainer (NASM or ACE only)
- Yoga or Pilates certification (comprehensive programs only)
- Physical Therapy Aide experience (minimum 1 year, hands-on)
- At least 1 year of hands-on client experience in a fitness, therapy, or rehab setting
- Ability to confidently handle clients physically (positioning, cueing, manual guidance)
What Will Disqualify You
- No formal training or certification
- Self-taught anatomy knowledge without practical application
- Inability to assess movement or explain why youre doing something
- Poor communication or inability to manage session flow
- Lack of professionalism, hygiene, or reliability
Compensation & Growth
- Part-time: 1530 hours/week
