- Performs all setups and change overs, operates 2 –3 multiwire machines to meet customers and quality requirements.
- Performs minor maintenance on multiwire machines, including cleaning and general house keeping, reporting any problems to supervisor.
- Pulls off wire scrap from spools and places in proper containers.
- Performs annealing tests, measures wire gauge and performs other tests.
- Maintains records, submits paperwork and reports to MRP system.
- Must be certified to run forklift.
- Aware of Kalas’ environmental policy and what it means to them.
- Aware of their significant environmental aspects and knows how to mitigate or eliminate the environmental impacts associated with them.
- Additional overtime may be required.
- Meets attendance requirements as stated in associate handbook.
- Observes all company housekeeping and safety rules.
- Temporary work at ECPD may be required according to business needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
