Blue Kangaroo Packoutz is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, develop high-performing teams, and strengthen organizational processes. This role is ideal for a servant-leader who enjoys mentoring others, building systems, and driving measurable operational success.


We are looking for someone who can confidently oversee multi-department workflows, improve efficiencies, and support company-wide performance goals. Experience with operational KPIs, financial metrics, and warehouse or logistics environments is highly beneficial.


Key Responsibilities


Operations & Project Oversight

  • Oversee daily business operations and ensure efficient execution across departments
  • Manage and support large-loss restoration claims and projects, stepping into project management responsibilities when needed
  • Ensure clients receive exceptional service throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee warehouse and inventory-related operations to ensure organization, efficiency, and accountability
  • Build and improve operational processes that support scalable company growth
  • Develop, track, and manage KPIs while holding teams accountable to performance goals
  • Review and interpret company-wide P&L performance to identify operational and financial improvement opportunities


Team Leadership & HR Responsibilities

  • Lead with a servant-leader mentality focused on mentorship, accountability, and team development
  • Handle recruiting and staffing needs, including hiring technicians and coordinating with day labor vendors/agencies
  • Foster a culture of urgency, teamwork, adaptability, and continuous improvement
  • Support employee development, performance management, and operational training initiatives


Relationship Management & Business Development

  • Represent the company at networking events, BNI groups, industry functions, and community events
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, insurance adjusters, and local business contacts
  • Act as the face of the company within the local market and community


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong leadership experience in operations, restoration, logistics, warehouse, service, or small business environments
  • Proven ability to multitask, make quick decisions, and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Strong understanding of company-wide P&L management and operational financials
  • Experience creating KPIs and holding teams accountable to measurable goals
  • Hands-on process-building and operational improvement experience
  • Comfortable leading in environments without rigid corporate playbooks or extensive structure
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, ERP systems, and operational technology platforms
  • Experience in restoration, warehouse operations, logistics, moving/storage, or related industries is highly preferred
