Job DescriptionWhat you’ll do:
Repair, service, maintain and recondition complex precision machine tools and all mechanical and hydraulic equipment in plant.

Receive work assignment from supervisor and/or higher classified person.

Work from drawings, sketches, instruction drawings, specifications, and verbal information.

Repair, service, maintain and recondition complex machine tools and all mechanical and hydraulic equipment in the plant.

Diagnose and remedy trouble and efficiently repair any machine or equipment in service.

Responsible for rigging, moving, installing, leveling, and adjusting of all new or relocated machines or equipment requiring extreme accuracy to align properly.

Repairs may consist of making parts, fitting bearings, spindles, scraping of ways, metalizing, installation, and fitting of spare parts and making required machine adjustments.

Coordinating other skills that may be required. Work in conjunction with other crafts workers on apparatus and shop equipment when required.

Identify parts as an aid in proper installation, locating trouble areas and expediting repairs.

Keep work area, tools and equipment clean and orderly.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

A minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience.

No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Beaver, PA (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
