Job DescriptionJob description – Assistant Region Manager

Overview
The Asst. Region Manager supports the Region Manager with the operational execution and performance of multiple depots within a defined region. This role ensures adherence to company standards, supports depot leadership, drives efficiency, and maintains high levels of customer service and sales readiness.

Asst Region Manager will support the RM in the below responsibilities:

  • Customer Service & Account Management
    • Partner with corporate support, sales, and marketing to ensure quality execution of promotions and product launches.
    • Oversee white glove service standards in region and address any service issues that have been identified
    • Drive solutions into market to fuel growth and sustainability to the brand
  • Operational Excellence
    • Directly manage and support a team of depot managers in daily operations.
    • Ensure depot compliance with safety, inventory, equipment handling, and product management protocols.
    • Monitor and coach on freezer branding, merchandising standards, and POS placement.
    • Monitor depot routing, ATK service standards, and delivery readiness.
    • Assist in troubleshooting vending or distribution issues in real time.
    • Review depot reports, inventories, and field execution for accuracy and performance gaps.
  • Team Leadership & Accountability
    • Set expectations for depot teams and hold managers accountable to company goals and service standards.
    • Identify training needs and lead onboarding for new depot managers.
    • Provide immediate follow ups on under performance and action plans to rectify
  • Reporting & Communication
    • Conduct regular depot visits and operational reviews.
    • Prepare regional updates and communicate field insights to the Leadership
    • Track performance against KPIs and P&L performance.

Experience

  • 1-4 years of field operations or multi-site leadership experience
  • Strong organizational and coaching skills
  • Understanding of DSD, vending, or cold-chain distribution preferred
  • Capable of analyzing reports and driving field-level performance improvements
  • Willingness to travel extensively across assigned region
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, routing and service software, and digital communication tools (e.g., Connecteam, Zendesk, Nayax)
