Position Summary
We are seeking a versatile and proactive IT Operations Specialist to serve a key role within our IT Department. This position combines hands-on help desk support with critical administrative, operational, and organizational responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats to support the overall efficiency of the IT team.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support to end users, including basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
· Manage IT department data collection, tracking, and reporting to ensure accurate documentation and metrics.
· Maintain and update IT policies, procedures, and playbooks to support consistent department.
· Handle IT Shipping & Receiving activities, including inventory management, asset tracking, and coordination with vendors.
· Support IT Purchasing processes, including requisitioning equipment, software licenses, and supplies.
· Oversee information tracking and management across multiple IT systems and tools.
· Assist with maintaining accurate IT asset inventories and records.
· Support special projects and initiatives as needed within the IT department.
· Participate in occasional travel (approximately 15%) for equipment deployment, site support, or training.
Qualifications
· 3–5 years of experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role.
· Strong familiarity with Office 365 administration and tools.
· Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
· Determined, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
· Exemplary customer service along with solid written and verbal communication skills.
· Basic understanding of IT purchasing, shipping/receiving, and inventory processes is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience maintaining documentation, runbooks, or playbooks.
· Interest in process improvement and data-driven decision making.
· Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies and procedures

Overview of our Hiring Process
We take a progressive approach to our interview process, which means we move quickly and prioritize early conversations with the people you would work with day to day. Final round interviews are usually held onsite and include members of our leadership team. In some situations, we will ask candidates to complete a project or build a presentation when it is relevant to the job. We are committed to moving efficiently and valuing your time throughout the interview process.
Work Location:
To foster a collaborative culture, we aim to place roles within one of our office locations. In some cases, we may create remote roles when it makes sense for business. Frequency and location of travel for team meetings and job duties will vary by role. MRP is an in-office 4 days a week organization.
Compensation
MRP builds its compensation packages to reward and recognize high-performing talent. Base salary ranges are designed to be competitive by market and take into consideration individual experience, technical skills and long-term career growth. Each employee is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on their level and company annual performance metrics.
