Position Highlights:
- Position: Respiratory Therapy Supervisor

Short Summary:
The Respiratory Outpatient Supervisor will work within the Pulmonary Department and oversee daily operations, assist the director with supervision of staff and department activities that provide services to all outpatients. Responsible for the efficiency, effectiveness, and utilization of the outpatient area, staff, and equipment. Maintains a smooth and cost-effective patient flow. Serves as a liaison to patients and physicians. Responsible for the oversight of inventory management and supplies. The Respiratory Outpatient Supervisor will also help to direct patient care, monitor the care being delivered, and collaborate with the Director to implement policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provides appropriate patient/guest care for respiratory therapy patients per department standards.
- Documents the patient record per departmental standards.
- Provides appropriate teaching or mentoring to patients, students or other ancillary professionals.
- Oversees daily operations of the outpatient services
- Assisting inpatient staff when needed. Provides appropriate respiratory therapy treatments with protocols including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, intermittent positive pressure breathing treatments, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, or Sputum induction
Requirements:
- Associate degree, CRT or RRT with at least two (2) years of relevant experience and with at least one (1) year of leadership experience in the RT department setting.
- Requires current, unrestricted, Colorado licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Current BLS.
- CRT Required
- RRT within 2 years.
- NRP and ACLS are preferred.
Compensation:
- $43.00 - $49.45 per hour, depending on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.

Additional Information:
- Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 after starting work.
- Work Location: In-person/onsite
