Laundry Attendant – Housekeeping Support

About the Role
The Laundry Attendant washes, dries, folds, and organizes hotel linens and towels to support housekeeping and operations.
Essential Functions

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and uniforms according to standards.

Operate laundry equipment safely and properly.

Maintain par levels of linens and communicate shortages to leadership.

Follow chemical handling, safety, and OSHA guidelines.

Keep laundry room, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized.

Inspect linens for stains or damage and remove from service as needed.

Coordinate with housekeeping to support room turns and daily linen needs.

Assist with inventory counts and restocking.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience

Laundry, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
Education

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality and cleanliness.

Ability to follow safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.

Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Availability

Scheduling may include weekends and holidays based on operational needs.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in warm laundry environments.
Work Environment
This position operates in a laundry environment with heat, noise, and repetitive motion.
