The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on active job sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, quality standards. This role is central to our reputation for reliable, high-quality construction across a diverse project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage on-site construction activities from ground-breaking through project closeout across commercial, municipal, multifamily, and institutional projects
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site personnel to ensure work is performed to plan, spec, and schedule
- Maintain and enforce jobsite safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance
- Develop and manage project schedules; proactively identify and resolve delays or conflicts
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control and workmanship
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and site logistics
- Communicate daily progress, issues, and schedule updates to Project Managers and ownership
- Review drawings, specifications, and RFIs; ensure field work aligns with design intent
- Manage daily reports, punch lists, and closeout documentation
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, inspectors, architects, and clients on-site
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, ideally with a general contractor
- Experience across commercial, multifamily, municipal, or institutional projects required
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations (OSHA 30 required)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents
- Proven leadership managing subcontractors and site crews
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with scheduling and project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
