We’re a 20-year-old local business seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain, repair, and ensure the operational readiness of client facilities in Centennial, CO. This role safeguards tenant comfort, building safety, and regulatory compliance while working closely with client representatives and vendors. We’re looking for a people-focused, task-driven professional to keep buildings, systems, and equipment safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and coordinate daily, general maintenance, repairs, and installations of building systems, tools, and equipment, including but not limited to, plumbing, lighting, electrical, elevator adjustments, repairs, and painting.
- Support furniture moves, conference/event setups, and minor construction tasks.
- Use CMMS/ticketing systems to track work orders, communicate updates, and close out tasks.
- Assist in snow removal, signage, and installation of minor office fixtures.
- Manage vendors, schedule repairs, obtain approvals, and maintain documentation.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and maintenance requests; resolve within established timelines.
- Escort vendors and assist with logistics as needed.
- Conduct seasonal and routine inspections, replace parts, and service safety equipment.
- Maintain inventory and requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain OSHA/Client safety compliance and building operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Ability to build rapport with tenants
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently (Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair practices and/or previous experience with commercial building maintenance (preferred / not required)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
