An established manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead its equipment maintenance efforts at a high-output production site. You’ll oversee a team of technicians, drive operational reliability, and ensure facility systems are maintained to high safety and performance standards.
💼 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and schedule daily maintenance tasks for a multi-skilled team.
- Coordinate with production leaders to reduce downtime and maintain throughput.
- Develop and manage maintenance routines, inspections, and equipment servicing schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using digital systems.
- Monitor equipment condition, prioritize repairs, and organize necessary resources.
- Support facility systems, utilities, and environmental controls.
- Work closely with other departments on repair priorities, project planning, and resource needs.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and workplace organization standards.
- Train, coach, and support team members in both technical and safety best practices.
- Manage tool inventories and oversee related spending within budget.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement projects and support the adoption of new technologies.
🧠 Required skills and qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a maintenance, engineering, or technical support role.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and diagrams.
- Familiarity with production equipment such as conveyors, presses, or automated systems is a plus.
- Basic understanding of lean principles or operational efficiency methods is helpful.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and coordinating urgent repair work.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficient with common office software and reporting tools.
- Technical degree or trade certification preferred; equivalent experience considered.
