Job Description

The Contracts and Legal Operations Specialist will play a critical role in the successful implementation and ongoing management of Evisort. This individual will act as the internal project lead for CLM deployment and will continue to manage contract operations post-implementation. The role requires collaboration with legal, procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure contract integrity, mitigate risks, and enable scalable operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from request intake and drafting to negotiation, execution, and post-execution management. This includes:
    • Facilitating the contract process within Evisort.
    • Conducting initial reviews of contracts to identify areas requiring cross-functional input and provisions inconsistent with company standards.
    • Tracking contract progress and key milestones.
    • Ensuring timely completion of tasks and approvals.
    • Providing support to various stakeholders regarding contract status, execution, and contract close outs.
  • Clause Library Development & Maintenance: Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of contract clauses and pre-approved alternative clauses for commonly negotiated terms. Lead efforts to standardize templates, language and terms that align with legal, compliance and business needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Risk Management: Partner with key stakeholders to facilitate review of contracts and establish contract priorities and timelines to align with business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate contract processes, leveraging Ironclad's features and integrations.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on the use of Evisort and contract management best practices.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key contract metrics, identify trends, and provide insights to the legal team and business stakeholders, and to provide insights into legal operations performance.
  • Other Document and Project Management: Assist the legal team in the completion, processing, filing and management of a variety of other corporate and legal documents, projects and initiatives.
  • Other Support: Assist with other duties as assigned, including occasional administrative support drafting internal memos, preparing distributions, and scheduling meetings.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

  • 4-year college degree and relevant work experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Software experience with Evisort, Adobe Pro, MS Teams, SharePoint and DocuSign, required. Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
  • Configure and maintain Evisort workflows (e.g., NDAs, MSAs, SOWs) with approval logic, conditional routing, and data fields.
  • Manage contract templates and clause libraries, including standardization and version control.
  • Set up and maintain user roles, permissions, and department-specific access.
  • Build dashboards and generate reports to track contract turnaround time, workload, and performance metrics.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support for Ironclad users. High attention to detail, demonstrated program and/or project management experience with the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams.
  • Experience implementing or managing CLM platforms (Evisort experience preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail, project management, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with legal, procurement, and business teams
  • Familiarity with contract law and legal terminology
  • Creativity and flexibility in completing challenging projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong time management and problem-solving skills, along with a good sense of humor.
