Year-Round Lifeguard - Part Time
Description
Overview
Join our team as a Lifeguard and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our members, guests, and staff in the aquatic environment. This position is responsible for preventing, recognizing, and responding to aquatic emergencies, and providing care during breathing, cardiac, injury, or sudden illness incidents until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor pool areas to ensure a safe and secure environment for all patrons.
Maintain a clean and hazard-free pool deck at all times.
Conduct routine water quality tests on pools and spas; report any issues promptly.
Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, administering first aid, CPR, or AED as needed.
Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Protect patient privacy by adhering to Protected Health Information (PHI) guidelines and completing annual training.
