Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily maintenance and repair work orders in a timely manner
- Perform apartment make-readies, including painting, cleaning, and minor renovations
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and carpentry issues
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems
- Maintain common areas, amenities, and grounds to company standards
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls as required
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
- Work closely with the property manager and leasing team to meet resident needs
Qualifications
- Previous apartment or residential maintenance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- EPA Certification and/or HVAC certification required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
