Job Description Shape the flow of a precision machine shop

For more than 43 years, EverFab, Inc. has delivered high-accuracy components from our East Aurora area facility. We are ISO9001:2015 and AS9100D certified and operate with advanced machining and validation equipment supported by a dedicated team of professionals.

Compensation

  • Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour
  • Signing Bonus: $2,500.00
  • Compensation offered reflects multiple factors such as role scope, responsibilities, experience, education, qualifications, and business needs.
  • Job Type: Full-time

Role objective

Orchestrate plant-wide production schedules to maximize operational efficiency and achieve 100% quality and 100% on-time delivery. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment producing high-precision machined parts and assemblies, collaborate seamlessly across teams, and work independently when needed.

A day in this role

  • Maintain the master production schedule aligned to customer demand and shipping dates.
  • Use MES/ERP (Epicor experience is a plus) to build daily, weekly, and long-range plans.
  • Coordinate labor and CNC machine capacity across two shifts to balance throughput.
  • Expedite manufacturing operations and reschedule activities when delays occur.
  • Address schedule impacts with Manufacturing and Quality to keep work on track.
  • Manage internal part movement to accelerate job flow and meet schedule commitments.
  • Communicate schedule changes with Sales that may influence customer deliveries.
  • Prepare, maintain, and complete production reports; lead the weekly production status meeting with management and team coordinators.

Tools, methods, and shop flow

  • Plan and sequence workflows for each department.
  • Leverage WIP and capacity reports to drive decisions.
  • Generate and refine lead times based on shop load and constraints.
  • Apply a solid understanding of overall machine shop workflow and AS9100 requirements.

What you bring

  • 3–5 years of production planning experience preferred; at least 3 years in manufacturing/production planning.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic machining background (machining experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; comfortable using software to generate reports and schedules.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented collaborator who can also manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Understanding of AS9100 and its application in a machine shop environment.
