Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician in an industrial complex, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment. Your technical expertise and dedication to safety will contribute to the efficiency and productivity of the complex. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks and addressing equipment issues to support the overall success of the industrial complex.

  1. Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive measures on industrial machinery, equipment, and systems. This includes mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.
  2. Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with equipment and machinery. Efficiently address breakdowns to minimize production disruptions.
  3. Preventive Maintenance: Follow maintenance schedules and procedures to perform preventive maintenance tasks on a regular basis. This helps to identify potential problems early and prevent costly breakdowns.
  4. Equipment Calibration and Adjustment: Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure accurate performance and adherence to quality standards.
  5. Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines during maintenance activities to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
  6. Spare Parts Management: Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and consumables required for equipment maintenance and repair. Notify the Maintenance Supervisor when replenishments are needed.
  7. Equipment Cleaning and Lubrication: Regularly clean machinery and equipment to remove debris, dirt, and contaminants. Apply lubricants to moving parts to enhance performance and prevent wear.
  8. Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and maintenance reports. Update equipment histories and maintenance logs accurately.
  9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other maintenance team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and efficient problem-solving.
  10. Equipment Upkeep: Assist in maintaining a neat and organized maintenance workshop, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications or vocational training in industrial maintenance is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety practices and procedures.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Basic computer skills for documenting maintenance activities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
