This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work with 2nd grade students for the duration of the school year through June 14, 2027. Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Teaching Certificate required
- Previous experience in a general education classroom preferred
- Ability to plan and implement engaging, grade-appropriate lessons
- Strong classroom management skills and positive communication style
- Credentialed educator preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive instruction to 2nd grade students, supporting academic and social development
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and differentiated activities in accordance with curriculum standards
- Foster a welcoming, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and document student progress, collaborating with colleagues, administration, and families as needed
- Create a safe, supportive space where all children can thrive
- Participate in professional development and school-wide activities as required
