TechOp Solutions International is looking for a skilled Privacy Analyst specialized in policy to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining privacy policies and incident management that align with the Department of Homeland Security. You will collaborate with legal, regulatory, and operations teams to identify areas of improvement and help implement policies and procedures that ensure the protection of personal information. Your analytical skills will assist in monitoring existing privacy programs to ensure adherence to privacy standards while also identifying potential risks and areas for enhancement.
In this role, you will:
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of privacy policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
- Conduct thorough reviews of existing policies and provide recommendations for updates based on changing regulations and best practices.
- Support the Privacy Office by contributing to the development of educational materials and training sessions regarding privacy policies and compliance.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and operational teams to ensure a unified approach to privacy governance.
- Stay current with legislative developments and emerging privacy trends to inform policy updates.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for privacy assessments and audits to identify potential policy non-compliance and recommend necessary changes.
- Act as a point of contact for internal inquiries related to privacy policy interpretation and implementation.
- Assist in incident management and training efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supporting a US Government agency with Privacy Policy development or compliance.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
- Strong analytical and writing skills to draft clear, concise policies and reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex privacy issues effectively.
- Privacy-related certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) are a plus.
- U.S. Citizenship is required to meet security clearance requirements.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TechOp, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 to $85,000.00.
