Job Description Tabber – Metal Grinder Location: Three Rivers, MI 49093 Shift: 6am to 4PM Mon to Thu Pay: $18 / hr
Job Summary American Metal Fab Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Tabber to join their production team in Three Rivers, MI. This role involves grinding, pulling, and stacking metal parts in a fastpaced fabrication environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with sharp, heavy metal components and has strong grinding skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Grinding metal parts to remove tabs, sharp edges, and excess material.
- Pulling, sorting, and stacking finished parts according to production requirements.
- Handling sharp and heavy metal safely throughout the shift.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
- Supporting general production tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What We’re Looking For Qualifications
- Experience in grinding or metal finishing preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy metal parts throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working with sharp materials and fastpaced production.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Skills
- Grinding Skills: Ability to grind metal safely and efficiently.
- Physical Strength: Able to lift, pull, and stack heavy parts.
- Safety Awareness: Understands PPE requirements and safe material handling.
- Teamwork: Works well with others to meet production goals.
