Job Objective

Join the Carmel Beach Hotel team as a part-time Maintenance Technician where exceptional service and attention to detail, create a memorable experience for our guests. We seek a skilled and dedicated professional to ensure our facilities remain in top condition, providing a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment. Weekends are a must.

Key Areas of Accountability:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property's systems and equipment to identify and address any issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption to their experience.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems, including laundry and kitchen appliances, lighting, and fixtures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all mechanical rooms, maintenance areas, and tools.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of events and special functions.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Participate in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as part of a preventive maintenance program..
• All other jobs assigned by GM’s of properties.
